Voice mode

Read questions aloud and dictate answers with push-to-talk — same questions as typing, with audio never stored.

What Voice mode is

Voice mode is a read-aloud and push-to-talk skin on the existing question flow. It does not invent questions or interpret your life story. Transcripts save through the same answer path as typing.

How to use it

On chapter questions (and contributor flows), turn on Voice mode. You'll see large question text, a voice picker, Read to hear the question, and Record to dictate. Advance with an explicit Next — nothing auto-advances while you speak.

  • First use asks for consent before microphone access.
  • Recordings are capped at about three minutes per take.
  • You can switch back to typed answers at any time.

Privacy

Audio is sent only to create a transcript and is never stored on our servers. The transcript becomes your answer text, which you can edit like any typed answer.
